Inspired by the fixtures that illuminated factory floors until the mid 20th century Independence features flared metal shades over frosted glass globes. The curve of the shade is mirrored in the canopy creating a smooth hourglass shape. We coat the shade's interior with white enamel to deflect light downward while the frosted globe diffuses harsh shadows.
